Additions to Crystal Forest!

We're working on fleshing out all of the current areas within the game at the moment. Bamboo U's received a little love and will get more, but one member of our team had this idea of dinosaurs in Crystal Forest, and we liked it so much that we had to jump on it right away.

HERE IS OUR (fully rendered) DINOSAUR, HE IS ADORABLE!

The dinosaurs will chase you if you get too close, to them, so look out!

New stuff!

Oooooh, rocketship!

(Also, note our new UI element down in the lower left. You can see your level, XP, waffles, name, and power meter at a glance! Power hasn't been fully implemented into the game yet, but it's coming. Plus if you customize your character, your portrait will change accordingly. GET THOSE MUSTACHES ON.)


Walk into the rocketship and you'll see various options for different places you can go! If your level is too low, some of these options will be greyed out, with a little message telling you what level you should be.)


Click on your destination and BLAST OFF!

Watch out for the birds.

New panda avatar and water balloon cannon!

There's a new playable avatar! This baby panda is for public accounts, like if you were to sign onto Bamboo Bunch at a library.


There's also a new game added to the starting area.


Walk up to the water balloon cannon and shoot down the hot air balloons for quiz stars! By answering questions correctly, players can gain experience and visit new areas in BB.

Player to Player chat

We've got a player-to-player Dialogue system now! Sweet - just click on another player to start chatting.

We've been adding to the quizzes, as well, so you should be seeing new questions when you run up to stars.

Levels

Small, but cool update: you can now see the level of different players. It's floating above their heads. Play at www.bamboobunch.com

Gnome animations

Hey guys! Our artist Tommy has rendered out the animations for the gnome. They look pretty sweet!

It also gives you a peek into how we construct our character models. :D Check out that wireframe.
